Traditional sensor pads rely on patient body weight and flat resting surface to work properly.  The Ultra Thin Sensor System  works by detecting the minute electrical forces that surround the body.  This new "proximity-sensing" technology offers a number of benefits that traditional sensor pads can't.

• Use with any patient - there are no weight restrictions.  The Ultra Thin Sensor System can be used on the lightest patient.

• Use on any surface - no longer are you restricted to a flat surface.  The Ultra Thin Sensor System can even be used on an air mattress.

•  More accurate warnings - sensing closeness allows the patient more freedom to move around the bed or chair without triggering a false alarm.

•  Receive earlier warnings - not pressure sensitive.  When placed under the patients shoulder blades, the Ultra Thin Sensor detects the earliest possible exit form the bed.

Along with these exceptional benefits, the durable construction for the Ultra Thin Sensor allows it to be folded or cut to size without affecting it's performance.  The 6" x 32" sensor pad is available in two different styles.  The 30 day Tyvek sensor is ideal for short term monitoring while the 60 day Mylar sensor is ideal for longer term monitoring.  Either system comes the advanced AliMed TR2 alarm and all connecting cables.
