The Posey Safeguard Heel Protector has an open heal design to provide adequate ventilation and cooling of the heal to help prevent and treat pressure ulcers. In addition, the padded sides offer extra foot protection for bed-ridden individuals. The inner liner of the Safeguard Heel Protector draws and keeps moisture away from the foot to assist in healing and increase patient comfort. Low friction outer shell slides smoothly over bed sheets and blankets. Attaches with hoop and loop fasteners. Machine washable, fits either foot.
Indications: Patients at risk for skin breakdown and/or friction burns.
