Product Details

Great for wandering patients.  The Door Alarm alerts the caregiver when patient is trying to leave a room or get into room that is "off-limits".  Alarm sound immediately  when the door is open.  System utilizes Basic Pull Cord Alarm technology.  The pull cord is replaced with an alarm that has a tweezer-like sensor on the end of the cord.  The sensor is place between the door and the door jam. 

When the door is open the sensor separates, activating the alarm.  Loud, 110 dB alarm can be heard over background noise of conversation.  On/Off switch deactivates the alarm.  Comes with Velcro® strips to attach alarm to door jam.  Uses a 9 Volt battery, sold separately.
