The Posey Deluxe Wedge Gel Foam Cushion helps reduce pressure while keeping individuals from sliding forward in the wheelchair.  A water based gel bladder is enclosed between layer of foam for maximum pressure relief and comfort.  The gel pad helps to redistribute pressure away from high pressure contacts points.  The wedge design helps to reduce slouching  and posterior pelvic tilting.  Comes with removable vinyl cover for easy maintenance.  Choose from flat or convex bottom.  Convex bottom style provides a flatter sitting surface and elimates the "hammock" effect of wheelchair seat.  Meets CA #117, Section E flame retardancy standards.

Indications:  Patients at low risk for pressure ulcers and/or requiring posture support and/or inclined to slide forward.
