The Day-Light Sky by Uplift Technologies is the latest addition to the Day-Light line of therapeutic light therapy lamps. The Day-Light Sky is a discreet bright light therapy system used to combat symptoms associated with both seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and non-seasonal conditions. BrightZone™ Technology delivers 10,000 LUX in a broad field of illumination, recommended by bright light therapy experts.
Designed to deliver optimal light therapy treatment by projecting the light downward over the user, the Day-Light Sky is also a task lamp. When used 20 to 30 minutes a day, Bright Light therapy has been proven to be effective treatment for Winter Blues (Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD), Circadian Sleeping Disorders, Jet Lag, Shift Work Adjustment, and low energy.
The smooth diffusing screen filters out 99.3% of harmful UV rays, creating a glare-free light source. Equipped with high efficiency ballasts, the Day-Light Sky eliminates the flicker commonly associated with fluorescent lights.
